People with spinal cord injuries and those who care for them want to achieve the best possible outcome and quality of life post-injury. This year’s SCI Symposium brings together experts in the field to discuss key topics including comorbid conditions and treatment techniques for dual diagnosis of spinal cord injury and acquired brain injury. Wound care and prevention strategies and bowel and bladder management after spinal cord injury will be presented. Other key topics include the use of transcutaneous e’ stim and 3-D printing for SCI patients, and the impact of the auto no-fault reform changes.
