Chronic Pain

Persistent pain can be complex.

Unlike pain that results from an injury, illness or medical procedure, the causes for chronic pain aren’t always clear.

In the Mary Free Bed Pain Rehabilitation Program, we help you find relief from chronic pain by treating the whole person. We use a mind-and-body rehabilitation approach to complement or replace conventional medicine, including working on your physical conditioning, retraining your body how to move and helping you manage your pain. We’ll also help you safely reduce or eliminate opioids and other medications so you can re-engage in the things that are meaningful to you.

Why Mary Free Bed?

Our team of pain rehabilitation specialists serves people with varying degrees of chronic pain and other conditions – such as spine or back pain, fatigue, fibromyalgia, headaches or migraines.

Patients who participated in the program have reported:

Decreased pain intensity
An increased ability to get back to daily activities
Less depression and anxiety
More adaptive approaches to dealing with pain
Less reliance on pain medication.
