Rachel Oprins | REGIONAL OFFICE SUPERVISOR

Rachel is the administrative leader for the Lansing, Saginaw and Troy offices. During her time at Mary Free Bed, she’s received the C.A.R.E.S. (Customers Always Receive Exceptional Service) award and completed a nine-month mentorship program under the Vice President of Patient Access. Rachel received her degree from the University of Michigan. She joined Mary Free Bed in 2018.

Scott Abromovich, CPO

Scott is a certified prosthetist/orthotist who specializes in post-polio syndrome, acute and subacute CVA treatments and lower limb prosthetics. He earned a bachelor’s degree in health science from Central Michigan University and a post-bachelor certificate in orthotics and prosthetics from Northwestern University. Scott joined Mary Free Bed in 2021.

Matthew Allain, CPO

Matt is a certified prosthetist/orthotist who specializes in lower limb prosthetics and adult orthotics. He earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Michigan State University and his master’s degree in prosthetics and orthotics from Northwestern University.

Chad Conroy, MSOTRL

Chad is an Amputee Care Liaison who works in the Saginaw and Troy clinics. He has more than 10 years of experience in the field, with prior roles at Henry Ford Hospital and Beaumont Hospital in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings. Chad has a bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation from Central Michigan University and a master’s degree in occupational therapy from Grand Valley State University. He joined Mary Free Bed in 2021.

Kristen Border, CO

A certified orthotist, Kristen specializes in upper and lower limb orthotics with a focus on pediatric orthotics. Kristen received her bachelor’s degree in science/biology from MIchigan State University, then attended Northwestern University for her certification in orthotics. She joined Mary Free Bed in 2021.

Michael Huhn, CO and Site Leader

Michael is a certified orthotist who has served the Lansing area for more than 10 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Michigan and a master’s in orthotics and prosthetics from Eastern Michigan University.

Jeff Lazenby, CP

Jeff is a certified prosthetist who focuses on lower limb prosthetics. He earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Detroit and his prosthetics certification from Northwestern University. Jeff joined Mary Free Bed in 2021.

Brad Mann, C-Ped, CPA, CPT

Brad is a certified pedorthotist, certified prosthetic assistant and certified prosthetic technician. He specializes in custom corrective and accommodative foot orthotics and orthotic and prosthetic fabrication. He earned a bachelor’s degree in pediatric orthotics from Baker College. He joined the Mary Free Bed team in 2021.

Eric Rzeppa, CPO

Eric is a certified prosthetist/orthotist who specializes in pediatric orthotics. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in prosthetics and orthotics from New York University and joined Mary Free Bed in 2021.
