Overview: A spinal cord injury (SCI) is an unexpected and life-altering event. People with spinal cord injuries and those who care about them face multiple questions regarding how to move forward with their lives post injury. This symposium brings together experts in the field who will discuss key topics in SCI research and rehabilitation, including neurogenic bladder and bowel dysfunction, respiratory considerations, exoskeletons, updates on Michigan auto nofault law, skin care and wound prevention, seating for wound management, and sexual function and fertility after spinal cord injury.
