Course Description: High intensity gait training (hereafter HIGT) emphasizes neurorecovery of gait via application of principles of neuroplasticity by increasing the frequency, specificity, and intensity of stepping practice. The purpose of this case report is to describe the application and outcomes of high intensity gait interventions in a patient with apraxia undergoing inpatient rehabilitation after stroke.
