Namaste Your Pain Away: How Yoga Has Your Back

Treating low back pain with yoga is a good move, according to new guidelines from the American College of Physicians. Dr. Colleen Sullivan and physical therapist Melissa Marek specialize in treating musculoskeletal conditions – and they’re also registered yoga teachers. They’ll share how yoga can provide relief for low back pain as well as reduce stress, encourage self-awareness and complement your medical care. Their presentation will include a short chair yoga demonstration.
Light refreshments will be available.
